I coach players. I don’t coach fans. On my team there is no room for excuses, laziness, mediocrity, or loss. Our standard is excellence through progress, not perfection. We strive to be the models, not the experts through an intense commitment to purposefully choose discipline over regret. We fully embrace that life is an amazing journey wrapped up in treasured surprises and gifts; therefore, there’s no finish line to quickly cross. We strive to develop habits for a lifetime versus salivating to find that next best “fix” to rip us out of our present circumstances.

No matter what anyone else says, I’ll tell ya that being successful takes time (Yes, sometimes that means 60-80 hours per week especially in the early years); it is filled with highs and lows (Yes, we ALL get frustrated at times!); it’s not always easy (The comfort zone yields the fewest points.); and it has a price tag (Free will only get you so far!).
